Small Paintings on Paper
These paintings came from a personal challenge to make small works on paper in a single session. Nonetheless, many of the works here were done in two, three, or even 5 sessions.
Large paintings takes a lot of tim and focus. In doing these small works, I was interested in working faster and freer.
This series (called Small Paintings I, II, and III) were done on hand cut paper. They are usually done using acrylic paints, beeswax crayon, pencil. and pen. They are all roughly 9 x 11 inches. Titles are simple and as simple reference points.
